SunPoker’s 2 Billionth Hand Promotion
SunPoker is going to give away up to $160,000 for their 2 Billionth Golden Hands Promotion. Once the hand ID reaches 1,990,000,000 (this hand ID is a Platinum Hand, see below, and is the official start of the promotion), SunPoker will give out cash prizes for “Golden Hands” which occur every 500K hands.
If you see the hand ID turn 1,990,500,000 you must be in the hand in order to be eligible for the money. Sitting Out means you get squat and the others in the hand get to split your share. Obviously, you will want to playing at least the $2/$4 Fixed or $1/$2 NL/PL once the hand ID starts to get really close.
Golden Hand Cash Prizes

Along with the cash prizes, the winner of the hand will win a seat to the Monthly Million Guaranteed Tournament on January 10th, 2010 ($535 value).
Platinum Hands
They are also giving away cash for “Platinum Hands” that take place every 2.5 million hands. Again, you must participate in the hand to be eligible to win. The value of the Platinum hands are going to completely out-weigh the cost of staying in the hand until the end.
If you are in a no-limit game, you can try to be sneaky and force everyone else out with an all-in if they are unaware that they are participating in a special hand.

2 Billionth Hand $100,000 Jackpot
There is a an amazing $100,000 on the line for the two billionth hand to be played at SunPoker. The participants of this hand will get to split $40,000 amongst themselves (hint: it might be better to try to hit with a six person max table). Here is what the winner will be awarded:
- $40,000 Cash
- WSOP 2010 Main Event package worth $13,000
- Irish Open 2010 package worth over $7,000
- The winner will also receive a share of the participant’s split
