3 card poker is a game where you are one on one against the dealer. Before these cards are dealt, you must place a bet on the Ante. You will each be dealt three cards. You must decide whether to Raise and bet a second equal bet to your Ante or whether to Fold and give up your Ante to the dealer.

If the dealer does not have at least Queen High, the dealer does not qualify; you will automatically win on your Ante but you won’t win on your Raise. 6. High Card – none of the above

It is important to note that the Straight beats a Flush in 3 card poker. This is the opposite of 5 card poker hand rankings.

Two more quick rules:

1) You can receive a bonus on your Ante if you receive a Straight or higher. 5 to 1 for a Straight Flush, 4 to 1 for a 3 of a kind and 1 to 1 on a straight.
