Learning the Theory behind Blackjack
Game 21 is what we call blackjack in casinos. The primary aim of a person is to get as closer to the number 21 or getting the right 21, but not crossing it. The closer you get to 21, the more is winning chances you have. You have to get closer to 21 than the person playing against you. One which is closer wins the game.
There are many ways by which you can win the game. For example, if your cards are higher than that of the dealer’s cards but not over 21, you will win the game. In the beginning the bets are placed in a betting box and the dealer deals two cards to each player. The number 10 card and the all the other face cards equal a value of 10. The Ace can be either equal to one or to eleven. You can request additional cards if needed. But if you go over 21, you will lose the game. Going over 21 is known as busting and if a player busts, he is out of the game. If no one wins or loses, the game is played over. There can be a case where the dealer wins over some players and busts to other players.
The two cards given to each player are known as the up card and the down card. The card which is faced up by the dealer to you is the up card and the card which is faced down by the dealer to you is the hole card. These cards are dealt from a shuffling machine or a shoe which contains some four to eight decks of cards. The best sequence of cards a player can get is a face card that equals ten and the ace card which equals eleven. Both of these come to the magic number of 21. The game is very fast and fun to play, but involves some strategy and luck.
